To: Staff and Physicians

Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has received notice from the Board of the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation that we have been accredited for a three-year period. This Accreditation means that our organization meets national standards of quality for health services set by the Council.

Congratulations and thank you for your tireless efforts in ensuring quality care and services in our organization.

We are always seeking ways to improve our quality of care. In this regard we are pursuing the CCHSA recommendations made within the report. We will be sharing our progress with CCHSA as part of the accreditation process.

All Care and System Teams, staff, and physicians are commended for their continued efforts to make quality patient care our focus!
