The Strategic Planning process was a collaborative effort that involved engaging health managers, policy makers, health professionals, academics and community members. This new Strategic Plan provides guidance to TBRHSC as an emerging Academic Health Sciences Centre and will bring renewed energy to all of our healthcare stakeholders including our patients and families.

The four phases of the TBRHSC Strategic Plan are: defining our healthcare context, engagement, development of the Plan, and implementation that identifies a clear strategy for performance, execution and management of the Plan.

Six engagement sessions were held involving over 400 participants. Consensus building among the partners allowed for differing viewpoints and experiences to influence group choices.
