The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Quality Market, a well-known locally owned family business. Quality Market has been a long-time supporter of our Foundation and is committed to quality healthcare right here in our community.

At one time or another, the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre touches the lives of every one of us including my family” commented David Stezenko. “Just days after the new Health Sciences Centre opened I was awakened in the middle of the night by a terrifying sound, my five year old daughter was struggling to breath! I rushed to her bedside to find her grasping her neck and panic filling her eyes. We rushed to the van and sped to the Health Sciences Centre as fast as my family wagon could manage. Upon our arrival, she received excellent care and the wonderful news that she’d be just fine. Driving home at five o’clock that morning, I realized what a blessing this new centre and its staff had been to my family. Further, I knew that every household in our community would be touched in a significant way at one time or another in the decades to come. I wanted to reach out and take some ownership for this place that would mean so much to all of us."
