The average number of patients receiving ultrasound therapy in the Physiotherapy Department has doubled with the addition of a new ultrasound machine, thanks to Volunteer Association/Health Sciences Foundation Family CARE grant. Ultrasound therapy is given to patients before an operation to improve surgical outcomes, and after an operation to reduce scarring, improve mobility and reduce pain.

There are 8 mandatory e-learning modules which require completion before employment can begin:
For the remaining 7 modules, your name and marks will be automatically forwarded to TBRHSC as proof of completion. (An option exists to print a certificate for your own records.)
A successful passing grade for all e-learning modules is 80%.
