The Research Ethics Board (REB) oversees all research
involving human subjects conducted at Thunder Bay Regional
Health Sciences Centre to ensure that research meets
the highest scientific and ethical standards in accordance
with the spirit of the Tri-Council
Policy Statement: Guidelines on Research Involving Humans
(TCPS 2: December 2010) and other commonly accepted
standards in order to protect patients, investigators,
