With respect to injury to individuals the Health Sciences Centre is taking all precautions to ensure there is a safe environment for staff to park during work hours. These include adequate lighting within lots and walkways, panic buttons located within lots and monitored by security, ensuring off shift access is provided to lots closer to the building, monitoring lots by security cameras and security personnel will be available to escort any staff to vehicles who are uncomfortable in leaving the building on off hours.
